Terms & Conditions
Last updated 1 August 2026
These terms form an agreement between you and Clauzo (“Clauzo”, “we”, “us”), the provider of the Clauzo contract and waiver generator available at clauzo.app. Please read them before using the service.
1. Who you are contracting with
The service is provided by Clauzo. When these terms refer to “we” or “us”, they refer to Clauzo. By creating an account or using the service you are entering into this agreement with Clauzo. You can reach us at o.alqamara@gmail.com.
Clauzo is operated as a sole proprietorship (eenmanszaak) registered in the Netherlands. Our registration details are:
- Trading name: Clauzo
- Chamber of Commerce (KVK) number: 42135759
- VAT identification number (BTW-ID): NL005526069B68
2. Acceptance of these terms
By creating an account, generating a document, or otherwise continuing to use Clauzo, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the service. We may update these terms from time to time; continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
You confirm that you are of legal age to enter into a contract and, where you use Clauzo on behalf of a business, that you have authority to bind that business.
3. What Clauzo provides
Clauzo generates service agreements, waivers, and similar documents from information you supply, lets you download them as PDFs, and can email a signing link to your client so they can record their agreement electronically.
Clauzo provides document templates for informational purposes only. It is not a law firm, it does not provide legal advice, and using it does not create an attorney-client relationship. You are responsible for reviewing every document before you use it and for obtaining advice from a licensed attorney about your specific situation. We do not warrant that any generated document is valid, enforceable, or suitable for your jurisdiction or circumstances.
4. Your account
You must provide accurate account information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity that takes place under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the service. In particular, you must not:
- use Clauzo for any unlawful purpose or in breach of applicable law;
- commit fraud, send spam, or misrepresent who you are;
- infringe the intellectual property or other rights of anyone else;
- interfere with the security or integrity of the service, including introducing malware, probing or scanning for vulnerabilities, circumventing usage limits, or scraping the service;
- send signature requests to people who have not agreed to receive them, or use the signing flow to obtain a signature by deception;
- reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the service or its templates as your own product.
6. Your content
You keep ownership of the business details, client details, and document content you enter. You grant us a limited licence to host and process that content solely so we can provide the service to you - generating documents, producing PDFs, sending signature and reminder emails, and storing your records. You are responsible for having the right to use any content, including logos, that you upload.
7. Our intellectual property
Clauzo, including its software, template logic, documentation, and branding, remains our property. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service within the plan you have selected. No other rights are granted.
The documents you generate are yours to use, adapt, sign, and share with your clients for your own business, with no royalty owed to us. What you may not do is repackage our templates or clause library as a competing template product, generator, or resale service.
8. Plans, payment and billing
Clauzo offers a Pro subscription billed monthly (unlimited documents) and single pay-per-contract purchases. There is no free allowance: creating a new document requires either an active Pro subscription or a purchased contract credit. Prices are shown before you buy. Pro renews automatically each month until you cancel; contract credits do not expire but are consumed as you generate documents. Documents you have already created stay downloadable at no extra cost.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
Payment, billing, applicable taxes, invoicing, cancellation, and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. You can cancel a Pro subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period and you keep Pro access until then. See our Refund Policy for how to request a refund.
9. Availability and warranties
We work to keep Clauzo available and reliable, but we do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, and features may change over time. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
10. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special losses, including lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or loss of goodwill, nor for any outcome of a dispute with your client or any consequence of relying on a generated document.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
11. Indemnity
You will indemnify us against claims, losses, and reasonable costs arising from your content, your use of documents generated through the service, your unlawful use of the service, or your breach of these terms.
12. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these terms, fail to pay amounts due, create a security or fraud risk, or repeatedly or seriously breach our acceptable use rules. Where practical we will give you notice and an opportunity to fix the problem first.
You may stop using Clauzo and close your account at any time. After termination you will normally have 30 days to export your documents, after which we may delete your content in line with our Privacy Notice.
13. Governing law and disputes
These terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by Dutch law. Disputes will be brought before the competent court in the Netherlands for our place of business, unless mandatory consumer law in your country of residence gives you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere or to rely on the protections of your local law.
Please email us first - most issues are resolved faster that way than through a formal procedure.
14. General
You may not assign this agreement without our consent; we may assign it as part of a merger, acquisition, or reorganisation. Neither party is liable for failure to perform caused by events beyond its reasonable control. If a provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in force. These terms, together with our Refund Policy and Privacy Notice, are the whole agreement between us about the service.
Legal notice. Clauzo provides document templates for informational purposes only and is not a substitute for legal advice. Use of this service does not create an attorney-client relationship. For advice about your specific situation, please consult a licensed attorney.
